The Victorian Government recognises the vital role that volunteers play in emergency management arrangements in the State and the valuable contribution they make to the wellbeing and safety of the community.
A practical demonstration of the Government's commitment to volunteers is embodied in the Country Fire Authority Volunteer Charter that represents the moral obligations of the Victorian Government, the Country Fire Authority and its volunteers to each other and to the Victorian community.
