Relationship Protocol - Office of the Emergency Service Commissioner and the Metropolitan Ambulance Service

The Relationship Protocol between the Office of the Emergency Services Commissioner and the Metropolitan Ambulance Service was signed on 30 August 2007. It is designed to demonstrate the shared commitment to the communities and government of Victoria and is a formal expression of the functional relationship between the Office of the Emergency Services Commissioner and the Metropolitan Ambulance Services that expresses:

  • The common responsibility for contributing to public safety on behalf of government
  • Expectations for interaction between both organisations
  • Agreed arrangements for the exchange of information and provision of advice
  • Mutual business activities and processes

In signing the Protocol the two organisations expressed their commitment to working together on all levels, whether that is on individual level, executive level or from an organisational perspective.
