Strategic Partnerships
The Emergency Services Commissioner has specific responsibilities to encourage and facilitate co-operation between all agencies before, during and after emergencies.
The Office of the Emergency Services Commissioner supports these responsibilities by providing a coordination role for projects and initiatives that work across the emergency management sector. The Office also promotes opportunities to further enhance existing relationships.
Part of the role encouraging these partnerships is to identify strategic relationships outside of the traditional emergency services organisations. The Office works across a wide range of government departments, the private sector and community groups to develop opportunities and provide a seamless approach towards emergency management.
