Registrations Still Open for Emergency Management Conference 2009
Emergency management professionals are invited to register for the Emergency Management Conference 2009 ‘The Future – Impacts and Opportunities’, 20 - 22 July at the Sebel Albert Park, Melbourne.
One of the major, annual emergency services conferences in Australia, this event offers an invaluable opportunity for representatives from emergency services organisations, local, state and federal governments, community groups and industry to increase their understanding of current national and international challenges facing emergency services personnel.
The program presents a diverse range of speakers including: Bruce Esplin, Emergency Services Commissioner; Simon Overland, Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police; Christine Nixon, Chair of the Victorian Bushfire Reconstruction and Recovery Authority; Mike Rothery, head of National Security Resilience Policy division, Attorney-General’s Department; Debra Amesqua, Chief Fire Officer Madison Fire Brigade USA; and Carl St Paul, London Fire Brigade.
Continuing with the success of previous years, free Diversity Workshops will be held on the third day.
Early bird registrations close at the end of May. To view the full program and registration details click on the link on the right.
