Emergency Media and Public Affairs Conference 2009

Emergency and crisis communication practitioners are invited to register for the 2009 Emergency Media and Public Affairs “Engaging Communities in Emergencies" Conference, 24 – 26 May.

The conference program brings together presentations from a broad spectrum of recognised Australian and international experts in the field of emergency public affairs, including a joint presentation 'Media Management of the Black Saturday Bushfires'.

The conference also offers an excellent opportunity for practitioners and researchers to share lessons learned on a broad range of emergencies and disasters, and discuss research into many aspects of crisis communication, public awareness and information.
