Emergency Management Act 1986 Instrument of Delegation

This document sets out the powers, duties, functions and limitations delegated by the Emergency Services Commissioner under Part 4A of the Emergency Management Act 1986 to the Deputy Commissioner, Performance and Review.

The delegation includes:

• non-financial monitoring and investigation of the Emergency Services Telecommunications Authority (ESTA)
• preparation and review of standards for the prevention or management of emergencies
• monitoring compliance with emergency standards
• obtaining information from emergency services agencies.
