Training and Exercising - State-wide emergency management

Training and Exercising in a multi-agency context is central to achieving a higher level of preparedness for the emergency service organisations in this State.

Emergency management training provides for the development of an individual's skills, in turn enhancing the organisation’s capacity/ability to perform its role under the emergency management arrangements. Emergency management exercises provide emergency management organisations with the opportunity to practice and test emergency management plans to prepare the state to respond to and recover from emergencies.
