Dial 000 and ask for fire, police or ambulance.

For emergency SES assistance in a flood or storm call 132 500 from anywhere in Victoria. It is the same cost as a local call in Victoria (mobiles may be higher).

Tune into ABC Local Radio, Alpine Radio, Mansfield Community Radio, Plenty Valley FM, Stereo 974 FM, UGFM – Radio Murrindindi, commercial radio outlets and Sky News Television - your emergency broadcasters. ABC Local Radio, Alpine Radio, Mansfield Community Radio, Plenty Valley FM, Stereo 974 FM, UGFM – Radio Murrindindi, commercial radio outlets and Sky News Television will broadcast emergency messages immediately, repeatedly, and for as long as necessary, as requested by Victoria's emergency services.

For information and advice on bushfires call the Victorian Bushfire Information Line on 1800 240 667. The information line is jointly managed by the Country Fire Authority and the Department of Sustainability and Environment.
