The Office of the Emergency Services Commissioner continually enhances the safety of all Victorians by providing independent leadership for the emergency management sector and encouraging partnerships across a wide range of organisations and communities.
- Victoria is leading the development of the national telephone emergency warning system on behalf of other jurisdictions with comprehensive testing currently underway. Telstra has been developing this vital system since the contract was signed on 30 September 2009.
