Welcome to the Office of the Emergency Services Commissioner

“Public safety is not just about the emergency services, it is also about communities and individuals who understand safety, who prepare and plan, and who know where and how to access critical information.”
Emergency Services Commissioner, Bruce Esplin

The Office of the Emergency Services Commissioner continually enhances the safety of all Victorians by providing independent leadership for the emergency management sector and encouraging partnerships across a wide range of organisations and communities.
